slicing shallots

      Is this considered a large shallot? I think we must have humungous ones here. Am making the roast chicken with shallots recipe from your blog (adapted from the French Farmhouse cookbook), and by the looks of it, I may have doubled the amount of shallots. I think it will be good, though.

      Thank you for posting the top ten things to do with kids in Paris-it is the one thing that I printed for the trip that I took with our six-year-old son this summer. A perfect set of recommendations.
