A Windblown Longs

    Newer Older

Thanks to Wayne and Mike for having the idea of moving on from a windy and snow covered dream lake to see this epic scene of the moon rising over Longs peak which lit up the snow blowing off the peaks very nicely

Woohoo!! Oh man!! That rocks David!!! You got moon, stars, mountain, blowing snow, and even glow on the horizon... Wow! It's shots like this that makes the 3 am start seem worthwhile (now that we're warm anyway).

So glad you came with us! Don't forget to thank Erik too! :-)

Another great shot. The perspective on Long's peak and the foreground snow with stars also is like the triple threat (and treat.)
