Do you ever use a wide angle lens? This is excellent work. Also, is that a paper back drop hanging? Let me guess...laying down coming/shooting from under the drop?

      I'm so ripping this off . . . I mean, applying this to a future shoot . . . I mean . . . oh, never mind.

interesting solution for the fill light, David. Thanks for sharing. Scrims are nearly oldest and may be most versatile modifier in lighting ;)

Greetings from Peru: I am new to strobist, but I was fascinated with the lighting of this photo. With fear of sounding silly, I want to know where is located the third speedlight (my English is not very good, but says it is the root of the soil). Thank you very much. And David, you have a fantastic blog: I read in Spanish and English (which the translator of google let me understand). A greeting from a press photographer apprentice.

I believe it's in the far back right of the frame, aiming towards the concrete to light it up just a bit.

My question mimics Luis Luna Victoria's, could you explain where it was located and where it was directed, and... any sort of grid or modifier on it?

I've been wanted to do exactly this for my girlfriends smart car.. Can't be much bigger than the bike and gentleman here! Nicely done!

I'm in the market for a boom. What boom are you using here? I want something moderately portable, but it doesn't have to be minimalist, I suppose.

      老大,我是来自中国的闪卓士,请问你用的这块大布和架子去哪里购买啊。我觉得光线很柔和很好用。哈哈。就怕风啊。哈哈。
