Better viewed on black, I think.
The tides at Nanven always reveal something new; sometimes the rocks dry quickly and sometimes they don't. I took this image on both Portra and Velvia but I think I am better pleased with the Portra conversion.
Hopefully I have done the conversion justice - many thanks to Nigel (of TB2012 4Mat) who has given me plenty of invaluable guidance for converting and balancing colour negatives. Given the subtlety of colour in the rocks (particularly the pinks), this was a difficult one to manage colour correction.
Bronica SQA-i, Portra 160.
