• What the heck is this thing? - pixelsnob
  • You after the bus hit you. ;-).
  • Actually it's probably to help firefighters locate a fire hydrant quickly (I guess it sticks out when everything is covered in snow?)
  • LOL! Hmmmm...makes sense. - pixelsnob
  • you cant even tell if the light are green? you just ran the light man - camprock60
  • He's behind the light. Telephoto compression makes it look like he's past it, though.
  • kind of morbid david. - Vincent Milone
  • It's for plows to judge position of the hydrant.. - ilczyszyn
  • Looks like they didn't judge the position of this one very well- it's bent :P

School Bus Approaching ("Kids forced to go to school in snow storm.")

135mm f/2.8 Nikkor-Q

Snow fails me.

Oh, and I spilled a drink on my 135m f/2.8 right before English class started. Opened her up and cleaned her up as soon as I got home. She's fine now. :D.

you see . . . it's like this . . . if the kids don't go to school, then the mommies won't go to work, and then the mommies can't buy everything in sight at walmart and the economy will collapse

so, the economy is far more important than the safety of the children

    get it now?

Great photo. B&W was a good choice for this one. It really enhances the cold, snowy feeling.
