    The Shot
This shot was taken on one of the many overpasses that run East/West over interstate I-5 near Seattle. There are multiple different locations you can get a shot similar to this, but I prefer this one the best. Check out the geo-tagged info if you would like to shoot from this location:)

    TIPS: Color Calibration
Well I finally folded. I bought a color calibration tool for my computer. After some research I went with the Spyder4Elite from DataColor. You just download the software plug in the hardware and it sets up your computer's color calibration for you. I noticed a slight change in colors, but now post processing looks way better. For someone like me who is OCD about things being done correctly, I got the chance to itch a scratch that had been bothering me for a while. If you are going to print/sell any of your pictures color calibration is a must. I would highly recommend this product, even tho there are some pricier versions out there I think this one did a great job.

Anyone else have other software/hardware that they have had a good or bad experience with?

    Enjoy….

Is this the Lakeview overpass? I drive over it daily and have taken photos from it but have not seen this perspective. I work just below at the Hutch.

I would say that would do the trick as well. I noticed a big change, my screen had a blue tint before.

Yep loaded with pixels. Thankfully hard drive space is cheap, along with RAM.

Like the vibrancy. Sheer scale and size of these files is mind boggling. I am very tempted by the 800 at the moment but it means a full change of system. MIht be worth it though.

Nice streaks here, my shot in the Pioneer Tunnel was with the 14mm Rokinon lens from Korea, I got it brand new for $399. I just love the small size and ease of primes. Great stream, thanks for noticing my shot :-)

One of my favorite places to shoot in Seattle! Always the freeway streaks and activity. The HDR processing is nice bring out the cool colors balance. Congrats on your D800 too.

That is an incredible shot...great light trails..and it's very bright so I guess you atleast used ND8 filter or something. Terrific details on the Nikon 800 as well.
