Ki'i

Images of the Hawaiian gods Ku and Kane. Ku represents the forest and rain, as well as war and human sacrifice. Kane is the creator god and also represents the sky and the dawn. These large statues are called ki'i (or tiki) and they're carved from the wood of monkey pod trees.
