Wow what a display the Breitling team put on for us at the Duxford spring air show 2011. looping and rolling through the sky at 150 miles per hour and climbing around the aircraft in flight. Danielle Hughes & Sarah Tanner seemed not to notice the wind.
With so many aircraft/ pilots backing out due to “ It’s a bit Windy “ attitude, the Breitling team proved you can still put on a top class, close formation flying display. I can’t help but feel some of the pilots that wimped out that day where taking the ,,,,,ummm Mickey.
It seems to me the BBMF only fly in perfect flying conditions, we must have been so lucky with the weather during WWI & WWII
