Negative "scan" experiment with Sony A7R and Pentax 100mm f2.8 Macro vs Pakon F-135

I decided to see (haphazardly) if I could photograph a 35mm negative with my Sony A7R.. I've been considering moving this type of capture since a twitter friend Photographer Mike Fraiser has been perfecting his methods in this. I borrowed a Pentax 100mm f2.8 Macro, used my Surface Pro 3 and a 35mm holder from my ArtixScan for this experiment. It's pretty sloppy, but I wanted to see how it could fair against my current 35mm scan method which is the Pakon F-135. The Pakon's max resolution is about 5 megapixels and you can see even when i'm only using seemingly a fourth of available sensor space the image is very large.
