prejudices presumptions assumptions

this is my car.

it's going on eleven years old.

it's never been in the shop, not even back to the dealer for warranty appointments. I'm too lazy. nobody but me has ever worked on it (well, I've had friends help me out).

I use it to haul construction materials, and to chase storms and to drive all over the country and go off-roading even.

it's comfortable on the road and very capable as a race car.

I paid six month's salary for it, it gets 35mpg.

I see too many people doing things, major things, bigger than buying a car, based on assumptions about how the world is, without even thinking about things.
