Who turned the air off?

    Newer Older

I love this scene when I came across it last week while exploring the abandoned St. Mary's Hospital in Gary, IN. Something about the plaster all over the floor, the fabric wall covering that was curling up, the water and rust stains along the bottom edge of the wall, and of course the massive air duct that had apparently fallen out of the ceiling.

I'm a fan of places like this, others see them as depressing or sad but to a photographer they are full of interest and potential. Excellent work as always.
