Taiidan Gunship Ver.1

Newer Older

Well it's done...not really sure it was worth how long I spent messing with it. Now this monkey is off my back I can work on some new MOC's. More pics to follow when I get some time. I think scale wise it ended up being a large fighter/gunship. Think space F-4 phantom or something like that. All credit to Rob Cunningham's concept art for the inspriation. Not to mention the clean up by Norsehound. There is probably a little Talros in there as well.

The hectic paint scheme reminded me of the old "SpaceBase 2000" book. Brilliant work, particularly towards the front :)

I don't mind the critique at all, especially when it is presented in such a nice fashion. I think people should have some confidence in their creative decisions, but not closed off from ideas and opinions outside their own thought process

Thanks, that was exactly the style I was going for.

    Dear Santa,
I don't know who you will have to steal from or kill to get this for me, but could you please set it up?
I have been really good this year, and I think it would be great if you could put this in my stocking.
    Thanks!

My thoughts ran to Chris Foss as well, but both he and Elson were big contributors to the TTA/Homeworld style, so it's not surprising on either count.

This is complete epic win. I'm glad to see you managed to successfully use the general feel of the Draken's cockpit in a space MOC.
