Bright White Light in the Night...
Aug 6, 2009 #265
Living in a big city is a nightmare for those of us into night photography. We have to drive miles to get away from our light polluting homes. Thanks to Konstantinos* that's not a big problem for me... he does all the driving... Thnx m8!!
An other issue is the moon... If you go for star trails the moon will spoil it... if you go for landscape the moon is your friend... So far I have been trying to avoid having the moon in my frame... Well that's not that easy with the fisheye!!!
That's the first landscape, night shot, long exposure, hdr with a fisheye... that I shoot. :P yeap... all that! That's also the main purpose I bought the Tokina 10-17... so far I am extremely pleased with the result.
Though I had to defish this shot a little, since the tripod was IN the frame... and I didn't want to loose much of the scenery.
I hope you like it... if you don't... at least I do.
