Deborah Lee with Osprey Nest, Chebeague Island, Maine
I took these snapshots last year of the Deborah Lee, moored in Chandlers Cove all summer. It's an old fishing boat that was forced to sit idle for the season when a pair of ospreys (an endangered species) set up housekeeping atop the mast! I just found out recently that the Deborah Lee boat caught fire on January 25 this year (click here for story & photos), while moored near the Niblic Boatyard, and despite all efforts to save it, sank.
