The Cycle of Light

    Somewhere Beyond That Horizon
A new day is being born.

*I've taken a sunset shot from the very same location months ago.
I returned on sunday and captured another sunset, different angle, and different technique.

I used 3 filters for this one. A circular polarizer, a graduated neutral density (2 f stops), and a light yellow filter. It was a fun experiment.

Mc Shutter, mouton.rebelle, redmann, and 49 other people added this photo to their favorites.

beautiful light and photo. On the ND filter, is it the darker portion that goes over the sky?

      thank you all :)

Dean Forbes: yes! I used the ND coming from the top to bottom. while I rotated the cir-polarizer till it took down some of the bad highlights that were on the water.

This is awesome! I must use filters more often! I was told that you didn't need them for digital cameras because of photoshop!
