Just a quick upload to wish everyone all the very best for the New Year and I hope you have a really great 2010!

I have no idea why I'm just limiting it to next year... It's not like I want you to have a great 2010 but a crappy 2011 but this is the way of things so just go with it...

Thank you all for every last comment/critique/note/favourite and fmail. They are appreciated beyond words. And thank you for your amazing photos and friendships that have enriched my days beyond measure...

Happy New Year!!!

Darren Tunnicliff No, you fell for my word play again... therefore, you're mistake. ;) I'm drinking coke too... that is, until my dad gets home with the grape soda. :)

What?!? You're drinking coke? That's mental!!! Oh... You mean Coca Cola don't you? Phew...
  • Beth 6y

    Happy New Year, Darren!!
Beautiful photo which made me go 'aw', as I'd decided to secretly call my new home 'Hope'.
All the best to you, and go steady on all those bubbles, you two cola heads! You'll regret it in the morning ;o)

Darren Tunnicliff Yep, I'm drinking coke. Why do you bother asking these questions? You know I'm weird. ;D
Just wanted to say 'Happy New Year', since it’s officially the new year. Hope your 2 hours and 28 minutes in 2010 have been good... I'm still waiting for the New Year to begin... so just wondering... When I say 2010 should I say two-thousand ten or twenty ten? I mean, I've never had to deal with this problem before. 2009 is clearly said two thousand nine; no one says twenty zero nine cause that would just be stupid... But then you look back to the 1900s and 1968 for example, you'd say nineteen sixty-eight not nineteen hundred sixty-eight. You see, 2010 is sooo different!!! And I'm sooo confused... :)

    Slow, calm breaths..... aaaaand relax.
Nope, it's got me well and truly stumped too. In fact it'll be stopping me from sleeping now as I head off to sleepy land. I'll be shouting out catchy numerical solutions, followed by 'gah! - too daft/confusing/long!' all the night through.
    Why, I oughta!!! :o)

    happy 2o1o.

    Twenty Ten...
    Two Thousand Ten...
    Two O One O...

As we can see 2010 uses less characters so that's how it should be pronounced...

    Simple really. Glad that's sorted...

I hope you have a shit 2011 Daz ;) hehe. that description made me laugh! This shot is wicked. I like the black letterboxing, it works well to provide more contrast for the light hands.

I know it's a bit late, but HOPE this year will be a good one for you too! Love reading your comments they're always quite amusing.
I feel the tones makes this photo depressing, But then the words speak for themselves, but I guess light is created because it's dark! Does that make sense? I mean we all need hope when it's dark. Like it.

Hi! Love this photo! I would love to use it in a presentation my boss gives to people who are working to reduce dangerous behaviors (drug/alcohol/tobacco use, child abuse, etc.) It is technically a commerical use, but for a good cause! Any chance you would give me permission to include it?
  • Darren Tunnicliff 5mo

Angus Beauregard Yeah course, go for it. :)
