UK - Oxford - Ashmolean Museum - Grand Stair sepia

Having photographed a Wedding there a few weeks ago I'd highly recommend the Ashmolean Museum as a Wedding venue, not least due to the variety of different spaces available. For this one the ceremony itself was in a grand old Gallery surrounded by Old Masters, the champagne reception was in the contemporary Rick Mather Architects designed atrium, the family shots were taken in the Cast Gallery against a backdrop of Classical statues and then the dinner was in a long dramatically lit Gallery full of busts in alcoves. The challenge as a photographer was to capture the whole event in a wide range of spaces, lighting conditions etc.
