McD's, Mission KS 2_wm
This spot had a McDonald's that was about 30-35 years old, one of the oldest on the Kansas side of the metro, and which was very elongated, front to back.
At the back end of the old, elongated store, halfway down the side street, we see this magnificent antique McD's sign, suggesting maybe an old time walk-up unit sat here, facing the side street, preceding the elongated brick unit, which faced the main street.
The other sign and building seen, in background, are for a "Back Yard Burgers" double-drive-thru place that was very successful, building a huge gazebo to accomodate the customers. (Back Yard Burgers outlets typically don't have dine-in.) Don't know why they went out.
