Demolition of RHM building(229) - 9099
Final shot for Friday. Noticed this EWS freight stood on the Old Road down line into Masbrough, signal checked at the North-end signal as the train was stationary and represented quite a haul. As far as I can tell its the 4E66, Margam to Redcar BSC working and about 20 minutes early which may explain why its being held at the signal in Masbrough. In the foreground, the continuing reduction in the large pile of rubble is evident as the 'pulverisers' continue their work at the RHM site, to reduce the mound to manageable grades of hardcore material. This is still going to continue for several weeks as I was informed in mid-June that there was 6 weeks of effort required to reduce the 10,000 ton pile into hardcore.
