International & Gerry Turners Fence #2
Charlie Taylor's Norton International.
I bought this from Harold Perrault in the mid sixties and rode it around for several years. It was considerably more funky than it appears in this picture. You can see it Here & Here It suffered a major dislocation of it's innards whilst Kenny Bean was street racing and I traded the remains to Chatfish for a Velocette Street scrambler. Charlie fixed it and, if my brain cells aren't having me on, it's the one that Charlie flies out from California and rides to the Jam Pot Rally . Pictures of the Velocette can be found here as it is under Ross Kittrell's management.
I took these pictures across the street from Charlie Taylor's shop in the Borough of Stonington CT. His neighbor had this fine fence that made a good backdrop for these pictures and he usually wasn't home. So here can see the pride of the British motorcycle industry dripping dirty Castrol 50-Weight on his side walk.
These are from scanned 4x5 negatives that I made with a reflex Graflex. Whirr - Whirr- Bang!!
