Vinnycja / Вінниця (Ukraine) - Домініканський костел

Dominican church in Vinnycja, Western Ukraine. It was the only Western Ukrainian city we visited on that trip, as well as the last one in Ukraine. Vinnycja has around 330'000 inhabitants, predominantly Ukrainians, but there exists also a Polish minority with an own church just opposite the one on the picture.

I was a bit disappointed that even on the streets Vinnycja, Russian language is very often used, especially amongst young people. At least I heard much more Ukrainian than in the Eastern cities, I estimate around half of the population.
