Trading Scouting History

Scouts and Venturers trade patches by the hundreds the 2013 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia on July 22, 2013. Patch trading has a long history in Scouting. Limited edition emblems are created for special events, and the embroidered patches are often given as gifts or traded among new Scouting friends.
