I like the fisher price look - in Vista it's better still - Aero Glass.
  • Jemaleddin Cole 9y

The Aero Glass doesn't do it for me - why is the glass casting a drop shadow?
  • Patrick Quinn-Graham PRO 9y

I did the same thing (turned it back to Classic). Windows, er, windows fit in better that way (and then really do feel like "the new classic").

I also hid the startmenu - as all I really use it for is IE.

    2 things.
    Why no Hard Disk Icons!!!
And why call your Mac's main Disk 'Macintosh HD'!!!
  • Kyle Matthews PRO 9y

How did you hide the start menu?
  • Patrick Quinn-Graham PRO 9y

kjmatthews: From Windows, go to the Parallels Tools thing, under the Coherence section it has an option to hide it.

method_photo: no icons because no name. have not yet changed the HD name for reasons explained here:

  • Mathew Hoy 9y

what is the icon in the dock next to yojimbo? sql sommat?
  • DanBenjamin PRO 9y

Mathew: it's YourSQL (I'm using the Intel version).
  • Scott Ahten 9y

If only you could run IE 6 along side IE 7 as well...
  • DanBenjamin PRO 9y

lightandshadow: well, I suppose I could - with two different virtual machines.
  • Patrick Quinn-Graham PRO 9y

    That's what I did (I have three VMs: XP+IE6, XP+IE7 and Vista+IE7)
  • Jeremy Pinnix PRO 9y

lightandshadow: You don't have to use multiple vm's. You can just use this:
  • dgotilla 9y

Dan, what are those two icons/applications on your menubar between QuickSilver and MenuMeters?
  • DanBenjamin PRO 9y

    dgotilla: Missing Sync and SMARTReporter.
  • dgotilla 9y

Thanks, Dan. Hadn't heard of SMARTReporter; seems like a cool App.
