Black Butte Valley
I climbed most of the way up the ridge just South of Three Fingered Jack trying to get a nice view of the setting sun on the other side. Nearing the top, however, the surface of the snow had become much too difficult to kick through and I began slipping; thought it best to head down at that point. I stopped and took a few shots. This one is a stitch from three handheld shots. Click here if you want to find out how I made it down without a concussion.
