Demonstration in support of the 'Free Gaza' flotilla

On Monday, as the news of the Israeli assault on the humanitarian aid convoy broke out, Israeli activists demonstrated in support of the flotilla.

Several dozens of Israelis gathered outside the port of Ashdod, to which the aid ships were being taken after the commando seized them. The demonstrators stood on the shore-line, holding signs calling for the lifting of the siege off Gaza and denouncing the Israeli violence. At some point a few Israelis showed up to support the Israeli Army, and minor arguments took place between the two groups.
