Bare branches... almost...
Walking along the Fox River again this morning. Almost everything now is bare branches and brown... except for the leftovers. And when the sun shines just right, the remaining patches of amber pop nicely against the pale blue/gray of the river water.
I absolutely love the color and texture and randomness and the 'surprise' of nature. All year round. Bold and brilliant flashes of color... subtle and subdued tones... and every little nuance in between! Late fall and winter now takes me into the world of the more subtle and subdued... and on this bright and chilly morning... I'm only too happy to find some of it to bring home with me! And then share it with you.
Don't you DARE put that camera on the shelf until spring! =)
