Color and Concrete

Most of the landscape I am seeing around the neighborhood these days features bare trees and drab browns and dull grays. So much for the fall color season. Or... is it?

There are still pockets of color here and there... but it takes a little more effort to find them. One or two colorful trees in the middle of 15 or 20 stripped bare. Bright red and orange leaves on the ground along the edges of the bike path. Or maybe a few flashes of brilliant seasonal color that stand out from the brown and dirty yellow that line the street gutters... like my friend here.

Nope... turns out we're not quite done yet after all. =)

There's still fall color and detail... bigger on black.
