Photography in a Rucksack

I finally got around to photographing my equipment with a loaner dslr.

I'm a backpacker so this is the absolute minimum I need for my travel photography purposes while maintaining my mobility. My clothes and electronics fill up 2 bags, a rucksack and medium sized camera bag for a grand total of about 35kg.

Not pictured here is the assortment of smallish power and computer accessories (e.g. surge protector, chargers, 24 extra Eneloop AA batteries, adapters, usb cables, pc sync cords, eclipse sensor cleaning kit, cable remote camera trigger...).

I need to be prepared to go to any climate but unfortunately, my electronics leave little room for luxuries like too many changes of clothes. However, I do carry a set of winter clothes, sneakers, mosquito net, and hammock.

(2 softboxes on both sides, triggered by pc sync cord)
