    Designing to the lowest common denominator sometimes excludes the possibilities. Blind people wouldn't get it either, but we can't expect to consider them when working with visual communication.

    Besides, the most common form of colour blindness is Deuteranomaly, which affects red-green hue discrimination. Then there is Tritanomaly which affects yellow-blue hue discrimination. There are a few other types, but I do believe the only type that would affect someone viewing this card would be Monochromacy, but that is really quite rare, and even then... no functionality is lost.
