Foxglove Beardtongue

Foxglove Beardtongue (Penstemon digitalis) - The Orange Trail, The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Gillette, New Jersey

As suggested by their Latin name foxglove contains digitalis, so if you're having a heart attack while out in the field, chewing on a couple of foxglove flowers might help. I'm not sure what the dose would be (and too much digitalis can kill you), but if I was gonna die anyway, I'd give it a shot.
