Eider Island

Three immature males and 2 female Common Eider Ducks (Somateria mollissima) on the Kennebec - Fort Popham State Historic Site, 219 Popham Road, Phippsburg, Maine

 

There were a hundred or so of these guys bobbing in the waves, but I chose these guys for a pic since they were closest

(≈ 400 feet out) , and easier to focus on.
