Fishing Australia 1970s

My sister and me fishing in Australia. Sometime in the 70s. Somewhere near Ballarat.

I'm guessing this is Lake Burrumbeet because I have a memory of a lot of open space around the lake itself. Dad's trusty beer can is in the foreground and the massive Holden in the background. I'm guessing it was a Holden but it could have been a Ford. That was pretty much it in terms of choice back in those pre-Japanese import days.

Interesting that the rich 70s colours were so prevalent with my sister, and yet I chose the muted more sombre brown-look (also very popular).

The fish I'm holding looks plastic and shiny.
