Fishing in China.
Work travel consists of air-planes, hotels, restaurants, taxis, trains and meeting rooms. I do the Guangzhou to Kowloon train a few times a year, and in the past have either fallen asleep in a jetlag haze (with my wonderful noise cancelling headphones on to block out the din), or worked.
Recently, however, I've decided to start snapping outside the train window as this is literally the only time I see China outside of the big cities. I have found I am capturing some lovely scenes - an old couple walking, two brothers playing football in a busy road, and this couple doing some late afternoon fishing.
The pictures aren't perfect, nor are they super sharp. But I'm working on it. During the trip this photo is from I tried an experiment where I set the focus to about 10m, the shutter to super fast, and the ISO to around 200. Overall the shots were sharper and more or less in focus (less in this case).
Next trip: I am looking forward to using the new focus bracketing with Firmware 4.0 for the X-T2 and hope this helps me get some shots in focus as a result.
