    i wouldn't mind being there... something strangely comforting and almost hugging about the way the stone is cradled. I hope that underground the scene is similarly swathed.

    My mother was from Wakefield, and before my parents moved to Maine, they lived in Greenwood. This is such a beautiful picture, the way the tree is enveloping the monument. I'm afraid I can't ask my own mother about this cemetery, as she has passed on too. Does anyone else know anything about this area, and whose memorial this is? Curious.
