I merged two shots here, the original one of the house and a HDR version for the sky and grass. In the full HDR version the people lost limbs and the house didn't quite look right. However, I like the effect of the sky in the HDR version.
The National Trust asks if this is the perfect English country house. Built in the late 17th century for Sir John Brownlow, it is considered one of the finest examples of Restoration architecture.
The house was used in BBC's TV 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
