Protest commemorating the eighth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq (March 20, 2003). Nearly eight years to the day of the start of the war in Iraq, protestors marched north on Michigan Avenue and held a rally near Water Tower Place. Hundreds of people gathered. Their message: the war is not only unjust but expensive.

Jim Watkins and the Chicagoland and Northeastern Illinois Photo Meetup Group put together a wonderful Vivian Maier-inspired Street Photography workshop today. Jason Martini and Brian Soko talked about their passion for street photography, thoughts and techniques. Thanks to all of you, it was a great opportunity! The event provided great inspiration for street photography.
