Anyone notice something odd about the composition of this photo re sunset and where the bike is?!

      Er,... it's on a runway?...
... there are no pedals on the bike?...
... it's on the M77 near Fenwick and you never really left Scotland?
... I give in, tell me...
Seriously Mark; I take my hat off to you (not literally of course, since I rarely wear one), you're an extraordinary person; best of luck on the rest of your journey; I'm proud that you're from Scotland... the furthest I got on a bike was Durness - which, let's face it, is almost the end of the world - but nowhere near Tierra Del Fuego :o)

..if thats the sunset it looks like you're heading north??

Anyway, just wanted to say you are a total inspiration, sounds like this desert leg is a tough one, hang in there, folks back home are with you. Loving the updates.

Yep does look Northward bound :) that saddle looks slim! Is it a padded one?

The saddle looks like a Selle SMP, not sure which model. I use a Selle SMP Strike TRK, it's the cheapest one, but still really comfortable. I've tried loads of saddles and these look really weird but there so comfy. www.smpsaddle.co.uk/

Yes, the bike is heading north which should never happen on this expedition! The saddle is a Selle SMP Pro.
