Smith-Corona Typewriter

    Newer Older

Just had a trip to the National Museum (Muzium Negara) and this Smith-Corona shouted to be photographed. Kind of reminds me of the old days. Show this to the kids and they might ask, "Is that a computer? Where's the monitor?"

jazzbook, marcinéma, paddiction, and 12 other people added this photo to their favorites.

How cool! I still have a little typewriter like this! I used it in college before I had a computer, and it's written many a term paper.

Hey Jan, I would love to see the typewriter. I used a typewriter in my senior year back in 86 and I think that was the transition period from typewriters to computers.

      I love type writers.

One of the plan this year for me is to purchase one. I think that is the representation of ultimate elegance, class, and dedication when typing a letter on one of these.

I love that you saw this in a museum! I just got nearly the same one (in better condition) for Christmas!
