What is it? (My first Jagged Ambush Bug sighting)

I've been unable to ID this one. It's very unusual looking. It's green and brown with orange eyes. The front legs look crab-like. It appears armored. I believe it has wings, but I've only observed it walking. And it is in a very tiny package. The background flowers are individual petals of a Queen-Annes- Lace flower. Imaged on July 30th, 2007, in rural, upstate Columbia County, NY. This is a further experiment in insect macro photography, in an attempt to image full frame, I've added my old 2X teleconverter. Camera: Canon 350D with Pre-AI Micro-Nikkor 55mm f3.5 Lens and Nikon PK-3 Extension Ring plus Vivitar 2X Teleconverter plus Fotodiox Nikon F mount to Canon EOS mount adapter ring. Imaged handheld, manually focused, stop-down metered in Av mode. plus fill-in flash with camera's built-in electronic flash.
