Cypress Trees in the Little Maumelle River – on the Kingfisher Trail at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. We’ve had several inches of rain this week and the river was way up out of its banks, which meant that all the limbs and debris that were washed in from all the heavy spring rains would be submerged and would make getting a decent distraction-free shot more of a possibility. It of course means that once the water recedes there will be new debris in its place.
It’s a vicious cycle.

2nd edit: as far as I know, flood damage around here has been minimal - nothing compared to what's going on in Georgia right now.
