First Light on the Pond

Exposure: 1/60 sec

Some patchy fog made for a nice atmosphere on the Pinnacle Mountain State Park Education Pond.

Natalie and I managed to catch sunrise Saturday morning. She came so close to sleeping through this one but decided to wake up and go with me. We both had a great time. She had a good time drinking hot chocolate (what I provide for anyone willing to accompany me at such an insane hour), taking a few snaps with her camera, and counting beavers, turtles, and fish in the water. Look closely here and you can see a Brown Heron finding some breakfast. I have shot here probably 3 or 4 times and seen a (probably this) heron each time.
