3 Minutes in Little Rock
Another at sunrise downtown. Does this look too purple? I really didn’t do all that much to it as far as the color is concerned. Slight levels adjustment and contrast adjustment in color curves. But I didn’t boost the saturation at all. In fact I pulled back on the magenta a little.
This was a 180 second exposure at f/13 except for the 2nd building from the right. It was very bright in the original exposure so I blended in one that was slightly darker. Because this is digital and that’s just how I roll.
ISO 100, circular polarizer, 6-stop ND.
If you buy a remote shutter release, make sure it’s a good one. Mine was cheap and worked about half the time this morning. It acts like it has a short in it. I had to hold the wire where it comes out near the button to keep it locked. Very strange. And very annoying.
Wow - my stream is starting to look like a Little Rock 365 or something.
According to NOAA.gov's flow rate data for the Arkansas River here today, nearly 13.5 million gallons of water flowed through this scene while this exposure was being made. You sit with that for a while.
