I drove out to Lake Bryan early to try and find a good place to capture the sunset, because the clouds were looking fantastic all day long. Right after I got there I came across these buoys just lying on the bank and I figured they would fill the foreground just fine. Just as the sun was sinking down the the horizon all of the clouds suddenly disappeared. It was a little disheartening. This is what I was left with.
This is what it looked like before the clouds left.
There is surprisingly little post-processing done here.
