From the Kate Aitken Luncheon; recipes all taken from the editions of Kate Aitken's Cookbok (first edition, Montreal 1945). Above: Tea Sandwiches, including egg salad, roast beef, tuna salad, watercress with cream cheese & cucumber.

 

All food served throughout the conference was taken from historical Canadian cookbooks published between 1825 - 1949.
