    Gardener's Cottage

    Dated 1864. Single storey cottage, cruciform plan (rear wing probably later addition), asymmetrical 3-bay front. Harled, tooled ashlar margins and base course. Gabled porch in SE re-entrant angle; canted bay window in centre S gable with monogram above; bipartites in E and W gables with quatrefoil detailing in gablet; 2- and 4-pane glazing; centre ridge battery of 3 coped stacks; slate roof with projecting eaves and bargeboards.
