Sunrise After Surgery 03-07-12
One of my oldest fur-babies sleeping after his surgery this afternoon. He's not at all happy with the cone, but we can't have him tearing out stitches. We had the vet remove one of many growths that just showed up all of a sudden, some of which Sunrise was scratching at and causing to bleed and scab. The vet didn't recognize the problem, but said maybe some kind of immune disorder, though if that's it, it's something she usually sees in dogs.
Now, we have the waiting game until the biopsy results come in from the lab. Hubby and I are both very sad for our baby and hate to even see him miserable with the cone. And then seeing the oil on his eyelids from when he was asleep and stuff just makes me feel so bad that no one can truly explain to him what he has just gone through.
And, while I don't want to spend the kind of money it takes for veterinary services, as an animal lover, I have learned that my kitties have souls and personalities just like people, and they love us with all their hearts--often times more than people do. So, I don't feel bad to ask those who believe in prayer to keep my baby in prayer for whatever this could be. Thanks.
