CROSSES

    Newer Older

These crosses were at a church on Oates Rd. in Garland, Texas and were about 2 feet tall put down in homage of the babies aborted in Texas each year.

This was taken with a Nikon 8008s. This is a scan. The grass is red from the long exposure and colorshifting being lit by yellow street lights.

The Dana Files, rodeo_clown, and 35 other people added this photo to their favorites.

"i think this is a beautiful image, even though i disagree with the cause."

That's because you're a filthy hippie, the only thing you agree with is smoking weed and not taking a bath. Baby killer.

It's amazing, Semper Fi Marine, that you seem to have so little to do in your life that you have all this extra time to attempt to insult strangers and call them "hippies", and that you think "hippy" is an insult (might as well call me a "stupid dumbie"), and that you have so much hate for "hippies". And that you apparently think that anyone who disagrees with you must be a "hippy" i wonder what happened to you to make you so full of hate? Did a man with long hair steal your lunch money in grade school, and then make you question your sexuality? Poor poor boy.

As for killing babies, yes, I think they should all be killed, especially the babies of marines. ;-)

It's a credit to your amazing shot that people are still commenting. We may not agree with your stand but the photography is making people feel strongly with its power.

But upon re-reading the posts from our military friend, Semper Fi, I see again how the ugliest, most anti-human, most vicious (and illiterate and lost in another decade) sentiments come from those who profess to protect babies.

Get a life of your own, Semper. Stop beating your wife and scaring the neigbhors with your vile outbursts and your obsession with warfare and weaponry..It's not your business what women do with their own bodies and lives.

Nobody has seen a hippy since the 60's, you moron. Only you and your ilk seem lost in a time warp.

Time warps are for movies. Welcome to the new Milennia Semper. Being crass is not a good attribute. If you need to spew, then go to hate websites and become a star. Flickr is for artists and those who strive to share their ideas and creations.
I am not religious, but this shot evokes interest.

That's how we should be, but He took our place!!! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
