The sunlight speaks. And it's voice is a bird:
It glitters half-guessed half seen half-heard
Above the flower bed. Over the lawn ...
A flashing dip and it is gone.
And all it lends to the eye is this --
A sunbeam giving the air a kiss.
During a break from my meetings in Palo Alto, I discovered this sweet hummer. My guess is: Anna's Hummingbird (Calypte anna), female. I'd appreciate any help on the identification. Thanks! I was mesmerized by its grace and iridescence in the sunlight. I am looking forward to admiring your beautiful photos!
Thank you everyone for your wonderful support. I appreciate your views, comments, generous invites and faves. Thanks a heap!
