Sonya is an insatiable, ever-curious, food, travel, and lifestyle writer.

As the founding travel editor of delicious magazine, she’s written stories for and worked with Vogue Living, Suitcase Magazine UK, Donna Hay, Rachel Khoo, Taste, Australian Traveller, Escape, Virgin Australia, Peppermint Magazine, Nourish Magazine, Table Magazine UK, Virtuoso, Visit Brisbane, The Weekend Edition, Broadsheet, most of the nation’s newspapers, and many other publications.

Under the moniker of @spaghettiheadservices - Sonya’s created copy for food brands, restaurants, hotel groups, creative agencies, and small business clients that range from oyster shuckers to beekeepers, across Australia, London, Sweden, Canada and beyond. She reviews restaurants and resorts, edits recipes, and interviews chefs and producers. And while she won’t write for exposure, she will write for food. She also writes fiction for fun and is working on her first novel, which is centred on food – naturally.
