With two decades of experience across the arts sector, Artist and Curator @lucyesque has honed her skills across some of the country's most revered cultural institutions including the National Gallery of Australia, the National Portrait Gallery, Australian National University and Museum of Brisbane (MoB).

With a firm focus on enhancing arts access and learning opportunities across a variety of audiences, Lucy's diverse expertise incorporates practical skills with an egalitarian approach to creating museum-based experiences. She enjoys creating innovative and inclusive engagement opportunities for multigenerational audiences and working directly with creative practitioners. Most recently this has included curating MoB’s ground-breaking participatory summer exhibition Play Moves; a fully interactive exhibition that has achieved record numbers for visitation. In addition to this, Lucy oversees MoB’s Learn program, which facilitates multifaceted museum-learning opportunities for educators, students, and the community at large.

Lucy is a practising artist and has also presented guest lectures at the Australian National University School of Art and Design, the University of Queensland, the National Film and Sound Archive, the National Library of Australia, and the Canberra Glassworks. With Betty Churcher AO, Lucy co-authored Treasures of Canberra, a publication commissioned for the Canberra Centenary.
